We give parents the tools to help their children develop socially acceptable behavior. Discipline is a learning tool that guides children into independence and adulthood. Our therapist uses successful methods of child rearing with 10 years hands-on, real-life experience. She has managed all manner of child-rearing challenges with children of all abilities -- from potty training and picky eaters to sleep issues and tantrums.
Developmental Therapy Services
Creating learning environments that promote children's skill development in a variety of areas. These areas provide assistance with acquisition, retention, or improvement of daily living, social and adaptive skills. The developmental therapist will coordinate with all other services in the child's plan to enable the child to attain maximum functional level.
Social Toolz Play Group
A community based, weekly playgroup for children in Early Intervention (EI) between the ages of 30-36 mo. as well as typically developing children between the ages of 24-36 months. The goal of this playgroup is to provide social opportunities for children of all abilities to interact with peers in a natural environment in addition to providing parent support during this developmental milestone for their child. Speech-Language-Feeding Therapy Services
Addressing communication deficiencies through a variety of therapeutic interventions is a major component of our system of care. The speech language therapist evaluates and treats each child looking at their speech, language, feeding and auditory processing.
