You can clean your blades while they're on the saw, but if you do make sure to disconnect the power. An easier method is to clean the blade when you're removing them to have them sharpened. The buildup can be removed using a furniture-cleaner known as buildup remover. Apply the cleaner directly onto the blade, and use an old toothbrush to scrub away the buildup. For stubborn buildup, follow up with some cleaner and fine steel-wool.

My jet table saw has excessive vibration.

Sounds to me like the arbor bearings have too much play, or one of them has failed. With the saw unplugged, see how much play there is in the blade by pushing it side to side and up and down. Remove the blade and grab the arbor with your hand and see if you can move it any direction. You should have virtually zero play. If that is the problem, major disassembly is required. If you have a pair of reasonably precise calipers and you get the bearing removed, there are several bearing distributors with good websites to find replacements pretty cheap. If only one bearing is bad you should replace both anyway. Good luck!

Pulled out motor and did not write down where wires go back and now eather it is on all the time or nothing or it throwes a breaker in the house only 4 wires and switch and reset please help.

You'll have two wires from the motor, a black and a white. The cord wires should also be white and black. The cord black is the hot wire and that always goes in one side of the reset and out to the switch and out of the switch to the motors black. The white is a neutral from the cord and connects to the motor white. Please remeber that a black always runs thru the switch to the motor as a means of controlling the energy required to activate the motor. Be careful!

Cut is always crooked. From the top to the bottom of the cut is always crooked. Can not get the saw to cut a 90 degree ( or even close to 90) angle. Even of I adjust the table to be out of square to the blade the cut is always crooked Vertically.

It took me a very long time to adjust my ryobi bandsaw properly. The guides above and below need to be straight, and the guides just barely not touching. The blade should be tight, and make a musical note somewhere above middle c when you pluck it.

Table Saw Blade Won't Cut Straight

Inside the saw, on the end of the trunnion is a stop that is adjustable to zero the saw in to exactly 90 degrees. Either there is sawdust or something accumulated there or it needs to be adjusted. You say you cleaned it out, So you'll need to unplug it an have a look up in there. See how there's a geared piece of steel that moves when you crank the saw over to 45 degrees. Usually there's a bolt or stud with a locking nut on it, either on the trunnion itself or the lower surface of the table top. You need to break the nut loose and screw the bolt in or out to adjust, then crank the saw over to hit it, check for square with a known square, crank it all the way out of the way and readjust, etc. Until you get it right. Make sure to tighten that lock nut when you're done. I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!

How do i fit reducing ring 16mm bore onto a30mm bore table saw blade, to use on a draper table saw

The reducer should fit right onto the shaft, if its the right size. Mic it to ensure. Then the blade should fit on no prob. I use a 30mm to 5/8" adapter on my own General 50-185 saw. Quality(sizing) of adapter is an issue.
