Hi there,The symptoms you are describing indicate an overload state. According to page 14 of the operations manual, the proper course of action is to wait 3-5 minutes and try again. If it continues, to contact a qualified electrician.Doesn't really give a lot of help though, does it. Prior to such measures, I'd check on the following:
The cord is in good shape. No frays.
Is the power cord warm?
Is there an extension cord involved?
Is this a recent development after a recent event?
Does the action on the switch feel any different?
Is there anything else on the same circuit that could cause a low voltage situation?My gut feeling is the switch is no longer locking and needs to be replaced.If the unit is still covered by warranty, exchange it.
